Oh hey everybody! It's been a while!
So on February 11th, I left Vancouver, bound for Montreal with Andrea. We met up with Adam as well as the rest of the new Belle Game family, and we've been to New York and Ottawa since then. These are some crazy times, which is why I haven't blogged in a while. What I do want to mention is that you should REALLY check out The Belle Game if you haven't already! Also, the number of Alex Andrew tracks that are now finished is up to 9 out of 13! When I'm back in Vancouver around March 7th, I'll be heading back into the studio for one final mixing day with John Franco to finish up the last 4 tracks. Look for a new track to be put up on Myspace soon!
Last, there's a link to my discography above, but there's nothing on the page yet. Don't worry! Soon enough there will be. What I'm gonna do here is have a picture of each album cover as well as a paragraph on the album itself. Any interesting facts as well as the basics of each CD will be included.
Can't wait for April, all you beautiful people. It's gonna be fun times.

JANUARY 29TH UPDATE...Partially Done!
Hey all...
...Just an update to let you know that 6 of the 13 songs I will be releasing over the next 10 months are now completely mixed and mastered. And they sound AWESOME!!! I really can't wait to share them with you guys!
As for the other 7 songs, there are only a few tiny little tweaks that need to be done before they'll be ready too. So expect it all sooner than you think!

JANUARY 3RD UPDATE...A little preview of "The Last October" lyrics!
Happy New Year!!! I hope 2010 finds you well so far!
So again, I've been pretty busy with The Belle Game...
We were on CBC Radio 690 AM with "Tiny Fires"! And apparently, people have been hearing us a bunch on CBC Radio in Eastern Canada as well! Then, later the same day, we played a show at Cafe deux Soleils, and we ended up overselling the place to twice its capacity and were risking it being shut down! Luckily that never happened and the crowd that showed up was AMAZING! So just a little sidenote: if you've ever helped us in any way, thanks. We wouldn't be where we are now without those around us!
As for Alex Andrew news, I thought that since my stuff still doesn't look like it'll be done any time soon, I need to give you something for the next little while. Plus, it's almost time to get back to classes, so news will be few and far between as well.
One of the songs on my next album will be called "The Last October". A little AA Music Trivia: I actually have two versions of the song. One is very much an acoustic number and the other comes with a few other instruments; however, they both have the same lyrics, so I thought I'd give you a little sneak preview!
The song is actually the 4th song I ever wrote, so needless to say, it's old. Its meaning is open to interpretation, but I think it's pretty obvious: it's about being lost after breaking up with someone.
